Location: on the edge of the village of Penrhyndeudraeth, between Porthmadog and Harlech. The fantasy village of Portmeirion is about two miles away, and towards the mountains of Snowdonia is the picturesque village of Beddgelert, which derives its name from a welsh folk tale. Wonderful sandy beaches are in easy reach, lots of walks from the doorstep and the added attraction of the Ffestiniog narrow gauge steam railway which passes the property, a station is only 100m away. Roadside parking close to the entrance, which has its own pedestrian level crossing leading to the path and many steps up to the house.

Accommodation: has three bedrooms (one with attractive four-poster bed), spacious bathroom (bath with shower over), kitchen, utility, dining room and lounge with electric coal effect effect fire for cooler evenings. The main rooms have superb views over the mountains and estuary.

Facilities include electric heating in all rooms, dishwasher, washing machine, tumble dryer, freezer, microwave, DVD and garden furniture. Bed linen and towels are supplied, heating and electricity are included in summer, seasonal supplement £30. This is a no smoking property. Young children need to be supervised in the garden, which is to either side of the house and sloping up behind.
