Location: Set on the lower slopes of the Great Orme, these two beautiful Victorian villas, above, yet close to the town of Llandudno having spectacular views of both beaches and the Snowdonia Mountain range beyond. Built in 1885, at the height of the town's popularity as a resort, the villas have remained in the ownership of the same family right up to the present day and retain many original features. The front terraced gardens offer a tranquil backdrop for alfresco dining or just sitting to admire the sea views. One house and a first floor apartment in the second house are now available to families and responsible groups.The town with its Victorian pier and promenade are a short walk away as are many excellent restaurants. The Great Orme tramway will take you to the summit and the Country Park, alternatively there is a cable car ride from the nearby artificial Ski slope which also offers snowboarding and a toboggan run. The town of Llandudno has beaches to both the East and West, and is convenient for day trips into Snowdonia via the Conwy Valley or along the coast. There are four golf courses within 5 miles, and plenty of opportunities for sailing, riding, or even paragliding in the area. Can be booked on its own, or with M9/81 Ardwy Apartment.
Accommodation:This beautiful right hand villa has sea views from all bedrooms. Sleeping 12 people, there are eight bedrooms, many with easy chairs, (please note that one single bed is 2'6" wide, more suitable for a child). There are five bathrooms and four additional WCs. Entrance is into a large hall leading to library/dining room, separate lounge with TV, breakfast room and kitchen, all on the ground floor.
Facilities: include full central heating, washing machine, two dishwashers, two refrigerators (one with freezer)and microwave. Bed linen is supplied. Gas and electricity are included in the tariff. Sorry, no pets accepted. Damage bond required for all bookings.
