Miners Cottage is a 2 bedroom terraced cottage in Blaenau Ffestiniog in the heart of the Snowdonia. Ideally situated to make the most of a holiday in Snowdonia with mountains on the doorstep and wide sandy beaches less than half an hour's drive away. Feeling adventurous, check out the new four man Zip wires, Bounce Below or a short drive will take you to Adventure Park Snowdonia
A classic, two-bedroom, mid-terrace, stone cottage. The spacious master bedroom (double bed) and the cosy single bedroom are both on the first floor. The ground floor consists of a modern bathroom (bath with shower over), a spacious kitchen, a utility area, and a lovely lounge-diner. To the rear of the cottage is a fully enclosed yard with parking for one car, secure bike storage and a seating area. Facilities include full central heating, dishwasher, washer-dryer, microwave, WiFi, DVD player and garden furniture. Secure bike storage is available. Bed linen and towels are supplied, heating and electricity are included. This is a no smoking property. Secure off road parking at rear of property for one car.
Location
Miners Cottage is in the central Snowdonia town of Blaenau Ffestiniog, within easy walking distance of all town shops and amenities. Surrounded by the mountains, this is a good base for exploring any part of North Wales. The small steam trains of the Ffestiniog railway run from here through wonderful scenery to Porthmadog on the coast. Mainline trains run through the Lledr and Conwy valleys to Betws y Coed and Llandudno. In addition to walking from the door you can enjoy the new mountain bike centre, with trails to suit all abilities with further trails at Coed y Brenin, Betws y Coed and Penmachno within easy reach. Feeling adventurous, check out the new four man Zip wires, Bounce Below or a short drive will take you to Surf Snowdonia- Pub 0.2 miles

I have given this rating as not got a freezer. We had brought food from home, due to being away. A small table top one will do to go in the little utility room.
Thank you for your feedback. There is no freezer at the property but there is an icebox in the fridge. The description will always say if there is a freezer. Glad you enjoyed your stay.

Bounce Below
A huge cavern lit in spectacular bright colours, completely decked out with giant trampoline nets. It’s the first attraction of its kind on the planet, set in a cavern that is more than twice the area of St Paul’s Cathedral, and is an experience like no other. The trampolines are all inter-linked, with tunnels, walkways and slides, with the highest net allowing you to bounce at almost 200 feet above the cavern floor.

This attraction, found in the historic slate mining town of Blaenau Ffestiniog, is a great place for an educational and interesting few hours that the whole family can enjoy.
