A small annexe cottage with one bedroom and open fire in the lounge. In a small village towards the tip of the Lleyn peninsula, between Morfa Nefyn and Aberdaron, a few miles from the wonderful Porth Oer (Whistling Sands) and walking distance of the sea.

A wonderful hideaway for couples, this small annexe cottage has one bedroom, accessed via steep stairs, bathroom, kitchen-diner and lounge with electric fire. Sea views from upstairs and the shared garden, where a summer house is also available.
Facilities include panel heaters in all rooms, washing machine, freezer, microwave, WiFi and DVD. Bedlinen and towels are supplied, heating and electricity are included.  This is a no smoking property.

Location

Blaen Y Wawr is in Llangwnadl, a small village towards the tip of the Lleyn peninsula, between Morfa Nefyn and Aberdaron, a few miles from the wonderful Porth Oer (Whistling Sands) and within walking distance of the sea. The area abounds with small coves and beaches to explore, many footpaths and the wonderful Nefyn golf course is a short drive away.

This short walk – measuring just a couple of miles – won’t take you all day, but it will leave you with some lasting memories. It mostly consists of walking around the village of Aberdaron, taking in the sights such as the church that dates back to the 12th century, before exploring the Holy Isle of Bardsey for a while.

This walk takes place at the most westerly point of North Wales, all the way out on the Llyn Peninsula. Starting and ending in Aberdaron, an ancient village that dates back centuries, this walk takes you around the cliffs, offering some spectacular and dramatic views out onto the sea.
