Detached three bedroom cottage with panoramic sea views and lovely enclosed garden. Close to Aberdaron at the tip of the Llyn peninsula, ideal for the lovely beaches, walking, cycling and exploring.
Three bedrooms - a first floor modern double (king size) with large en-suite bathroom with under floor heating, one double and a twin, reached by separate steep stairway. Part of the charm of the cottage is the sloping ceilings in these bedrooms but please take care. Ground floor has bathroom with shower and WC, laundry room, third WC, modern kitchen-dining room with log burner and two living rooms, one with french doors to a terrace with sea views and one with log fire. Facilities include wifi (average 42Mbps download and 18Mbps upload), double glazing, electric central heating, freezer, microwave, washer/dryer, dishwasher, 3 TVs with Apple TV module, CD player, telephone and assorted books and games. Bed linen and towels are supplied, initial supply of logs for the log fire, electricity is extra by meter reading (please note - all appliances are electric including the central heating and hot water). There is a cot available but no high chair.This is a no smoking property. A maximum of two dogs welcome. This property has a refundable £100 housekeeping bond.

Bryn Goleu is on the tip of the Lleyn peninsula on the edge of the quiet hamlet of Rhiw just 3 miles from Aberdaron. The panoramic sea views from this cottage are extensive - across to Bardsey Island and, on a clear day, the Wicklow Hills in Ireland! It is a 2 mile walk to the lovely beach at PorthYsgo and around the cliffs overlooking Hell's Mouth and the whole of the west coast of Wales. The cottage is warm, cosy and welcoming.- Pub 4 miles

This is a delightful and rather quirky cottage in a superb setting, with walks from the door in all directions, and the beaches at Porth Ysgo and Aberdaron a few minutes away. Great library of books if its a bit wet. Well equipped and comfortable.

We have been holidaying on Rhiw for over 13 years now and some years coming twice a year. Bryn Goleu we have been visiting for over 10 years. We love this location, its a great place to recharge your batteries. The house is always amazing too.

We have stayed in this cottage a few times which is a good recommendation in itself. Right on the coastal path .Beautiful views - as long as there is no sea fret! Comfortable , with very helpful owners and agent.

Rhiw to Abersoch
This 14 mile stretch takes in some of the finest coastal sections of the Llyn Peninsula in North Wales. The main section of the walk is the beautiful (though scarily named) Hell’s Mouth, a massive beach that is best at low tide, when you can really make the most of it.
Aberdaron and Bardsey Island
This short 2 walks – measuring just a couple of miles – won’t take you all day, but it will leave you with some lasting memories. It mostly consists of walking around the village of Aberdaron, taking in the sights such as the church that dates back to the 12th century, before taking a boat to explore the Holy Isle of Bardsey for a while.
Aberdaron to Mynydd Mawr
This walk takes place at the most westerly point of North Wales, all the way out on the Llyn Peninsula. Starting and ending in Aberdaron, an ancient village that dates back centuries, this walk takes you around the cliffs, offering some spectacular and dramatic views out onto the sea. Be sure to take your camera!
