Cerrig has four bedrooms, two on the ground floor including the master with ensuite bathroom. Additional ground floor single bedroom and full wet room.  Upstairs is a double room through which a further single bedroom and shower room are accessed. The light spacious kitchen-breakfast room has an Aga cooker (electric oven and hob as well), separate dining room, snug sitting room and large lounge with wood burning stove, large windows and patio doors taking advantage of the wonderful views.

Facilities include geo thermal under floor heating to the ground floor with electric heaters to the first floor, dishwasher, washing machine, freezer, DVD player and garden furniture. Wi-fi Broadband.  There is a wood-fired hot tub in the secluded garden, which takes a while to heat up, but well worth the effort. Ample parking for several cars. This is a no smoking property.

Please note that arrival time is 4pm onwards and departure before 10am.

Location

Standing in 40 acres of garden and woodland and with its own waterfall, this lovely cottage is set on its own in an elevated position between Beddgelert and Porthmadog. The panoramic veiws of the Snowdon range are wonderful. From Beddgelert the Welsh Highland steam railway can transport you to Porthmadog or to the town of Caernarfon with its spectacular castle. There are lovely walks within the grounds, as well as in the surrounding area. In summer the near-by Osprey project is worth a visit, and sightings of the ospreys from the cottage are possible. Easy driving to the mountains and the coast, especially Black Rock Sands, and the Llyn peninsula.

Beautiful location. Well equipped, spacious, beautiful views. Would like to come back. Due to the house being extended, you cannot hear children upstairs when parents downstairs or vice versa... Wish we had taken baby monitor! Had a lovely week though.

Thank you for your review and your additional helpful comment regarding the baby monitor. We are glad to hear you enjoyed your stay and hope we are able to help you with a return visit.

Cerrig is a fabulous cottage in a fabulous setting. Frequent visits from the ospreys added to our week. The bed in the master bedroom and the wet room are perfect. Views are lovely from all rooms and outstanding from the patio at any time. Will be staying again
