Lovely stone cottage in tranquil setting. Very comfortable and homely.

A beautiful picturesque cottage in total seclusion. Everything you need is catered for. The lounge is wonderful on a cold rainy day with the log fire lit, so cosy, ideal for reading. The garden outside the kitchen is full of birds, and squirrels who come to feed at the bird feeders and rabbits and hares are everywhere. The beds are amazing, the best sleep we have had in years. Our dog loved the peace and quiet and all the freedom he had. The only warning is the very steep stairs to the bedrooms which may be a problem for some people as the bathroom is downstairs. (not a problem for us). The owner is a very polite, helpful man with a great sense of humour.

Comfortable, secluded cottage. Very steep stairs to first floor. Good beds. A lot of birds, squirls in the immediate area and cows behind the livingroom window. Quiet place.

Abe Falls Aber Falls

Known as Rhaeadr Fawr in Welsh, the waterfall measures almost 40 metres in height, formed by the Afon Goch flowing down the Carneddau foothills. They are found a short walk (roughly two miles) south of the village of Abergwyngregyn, and serve as the major attraction of the area. Well worth a visit, the walk is as enjoyable as seeing the falls.

Pont Y Pair Bridge In Betws Y Coed Betws-y-Coed

The most popular inland resort in North Wales, partly due to its convenience as a location but mostly thanks to its beauty and splendour. A lot of the village dates back to the Victorians, and their influence still abounds in the buildings. Surrounded by the dense forestry and imposing mountains of the region, Betws-y-Coed feels pleasantly out of the way.
