Available now Coedfa is just a short walk into the centre of the popular village of Betws Y Coed (the gateway to Snowdonia) with it's charming shops, pubs and restaurants and the beautiful woodland walks in the hills above. Just 30mins drive North passing the famous Bodnant Gardens brings you to the Hostoric castle town of Conwy, Llandudno and the rest of the North Coast.

Has two bedrooms (one with en-suite shower room) and family bathroom (bath with shower over) all on the ground floor. On the first floor are kitchen-diner and large lounge with raftered ceiling and picture windows. Guests feel at home straight away in this popular cottage.
Entering the house through the porch and into the lounge on the first floor you are greeted with wonderful views through the picture window of the valley, river and steep wooded hills. The high raftered ceiling and open space of the lounge leads into the kitchen-diner and from here the comfortable ground floor bedrooms and bathrooms can be accessed by the stairs. Many visitors enjoy sitting outside in the evening and listening to the sound of the stream running into the pond - parents of small children should be aware of this open water. You should be able to see some of the local wildlife and list what you spot in the cottage's wildlife notebook.
Facilities include full central heating, dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, freezer, Wi-Fi, digital TV, DVD and garden furniture. There is a stream-fed pond in the garden. Bedlinen and towels are supplied, heating and electricity are included. This property has a Friday changeover and there is no smoking in the property or in the garden. Please be aware that due to the location, weather conditions may occasionally affect the reception of terrestrial TV channels, however there is a full BT TV broadband streaming facility (BT Sport, Sky Sport and Netflix).

Location

Coedfa Cottage is on the eastern edge of Betws y Coed, has wonderful views over the river and tree-lined Lledr valley and is only ten minutes walk from the village centre, with a footpath close by leading to an excellent local restaurant as well to beautiful woodland walks in the hills above the village. The village  is a very good holiday base, with easy access to Snowdonia and yet just half an hour's drive to the coast at Llandudno, Conwy and Colwyn Bay. Local attractions: Previous guests recommend a walk in the woods around Betws Y Coed, Aber Falls, Bodnant Gardens, Harlech Castle, Snowdon, Port Meirion, Llechwedd slate caverns and Conway Castle. For the more active a day of mountaineering or kayaking at Plas Y Brenin or the nearby Tree Tops high rope adventure course. Local Restaurants: The Royal Oak Hotel in Betws Y Coed has great food, Ty Gwyn Inn with a "fantastic atmosphere" is a short walk away. If you prefer to do the cooking yourself the butcher in Trefiw (10 minutes drive to the North) is highly recommended.

A beautiful cottage in a lovely location, a real home from home. Very comfortable in all respects. Everything you could ask for was provided. Several folders of information containing details of appliances in cottage, also tourist information. Highly recommended. We were delighted with our holiday at Coedfa Cottage, it was a lovely peaceful location, close to the village and amenities. A real credit to the owners.

Thank you for your review. We are glad to hear that you enjoyed your stay at Coedfa and look forward to welcoming you to North Wales in the future.

We enjoyed our stay at COEDFA COTTAGE it is an excellent cottage. Everything was as expected and the garden was beautiful. The only thing we thought was missing was a grab rail in the showers , especially in the shower over the bath. The cottage is fantastic in a fantastic location.
