Location

Glain Orme, a beautiful Victorian villa, is set on the lower slopes of the Great Orme, yet close to the town of Llandudno having spectacular views of both beaches and the Snowdonia Mountain range beyond. Built in 1885, at the height of the town's popularity as a resort, the villa has remained in the ownership of the same family right up to the present day and retains many original features. The front terraced gardens offer a tranquil backdrop for alfresco dining or just sitting to admire the sea views. The house can be booked with a first floor apartment, Ardwy Orme, in the second house for families and responsible groups. The town with its Victorian pier and promenade are a short walk away as are many excellent restaurants. The Great Orme tramway will take you to the summit and the Country Park, alternatively there is a cable car ride from the nearby artificial Ski slope which also offers snowboarding and a toboggan run. The town of Llandudno has beaches to both the East and West, and is convenient for day trips into Snowdonia via the Conwy Valley or along the coast. There are four golf courses within 5 miles, and plenty of opportunities for sailing, riding, or even paragliding in the area.  Can be booked on its own or with Ardwy Apartment.

Huge house full of character with the greatest views over Llandudno bay! We had a lovely stay and had everything we needed. A bit old fashioned but comfortable and we all had a great time.

An amazing house, beautifully situated between the North and South bays. An astonishing view greeted us daily. The house is perfectly set up for large groups, with every need catered for. Plenty of space throughout the house and everything thoughtfully laid out. Absolutely loved it and would return in a hearbeat!

We are really pleased to hear that you enjoyed your stay at Glain Orme and hope we are able to help you with booking a return visit in the future.

It was an excellent cottage with a beautiful view to the town and beach...We had kids in our group and they loved it, they run around the house, played hide and seek and enjoyed....two separate reception room made it better for kids to play separately to adults. It contained all the modern facilities needed. This was one of the best locations we stayed in. I would definitely come back again.
