We enjoyed a lovely break in this cottage which is in a beautiful, rural location and perfectly situated for exploring North Wales, being a short drive from the nearest town, coast as well as Snowdonia. The cottage itself was very clean, comfortable and well equipped for four adults. We appreciated the delicious homemade fruit loaf which was left for us and the fresh daffodils too. We would definitely recommend this lovely cottage.

Thank you for your feedback, great to hear you enjoyed your stay and the beautiful surrounding countryside. I will pass all your comments to the owner of the cottage.

Beudy (Moelfre)

A beautiful barn conversion with fabulous views over open countryside and farmland towards the distant coast. On a working farm in the hamlet of Moelfre just outside Abergele. This rural setting is only 5 miles from the beach and well positioned to enable you to explore the whole of the North Wales coast, borderlands and deep into the Snowdonia National Park, whilst being just thirty minutes drive from the Roman city of Chester. Walking, bird watching, golf, and fishing are all locally available. A little further on adventure beckons….

Aderyn Du

This detached bungalow with large private garden is not far from the centre of Abergele. Sandy beaches at Pensarn, Colwyn Bay or Rhyl are in easy driving distance, the rolling hills of the Conwy Valley and Denbigh moors offer good walking country nearby.

North Wales Brewery1 North Wales Brewery

If you are dedicated to trying only the most local and independent of beers and ales, then you will probably want to find a brewery that is similarly dedicated to producing fantastic brews. Well, you’re in luck: breweries don’t come much more dedicated than the North Wales Brewery in Abergele – the owner, John Wood, recently drilled 500 feet into the mountain behind the brewery to find pure spring water to use in the process. Now that is dedication to using local ingredients!

Coed Y Gopa 1 Around Coed y Gopa

Coed y Gopa is a popular stretch of woodland that is located on a limestone hillside within the beautiful Vale of Clwyd. It is a beautiful place that is filled with a wide variety of plant and animal life, perfect for a long walk by yourself. The forest overlooks the little town of Abergele, and can provide you with some breath-taking views of the coast.

Golf 2 Abergele Golf Club

Found on the coast of North Wales, within the grounds of Gwrych Castle, is the lovely Abergele Golf Club. You will find the course just a little way west of the town from which it takes its name, so you should make sure to pay a visit to the club after you’ve enjoyed the many pleasures of Abergele itself.
