Part of a converted old country school this 3 bedroomed cottage provides comfortable accomodation for six with a cosy log burner on the edge of the Snowdonia National Park

Consists of three bedrooms, one with en-suite shower room, ground floor bathroom (bath with shower over) and very spacious lounge-diner with log stove and steps up to a well equipped open plan kitchen. External utility area and bike store. The large garden has a raised decked area and an elevated summer house, wonderful for evening drinks, or for children to play in. Facilities include full central heating, dishwasher, washing machine, fridge-freezer, microwave, DVD and garden furniture. Bed linen and towels are supplied, electricity and heating are included in the tariff. Broadband internet access is available. This is a no smoking property.

Location

Part of a converted old country school Tai Pont Twr is by a quiet wooded road just outside Bethesda half way between the historic castle towns of Conwy and Caernarfon. This is an excellent base for exploring the mountains and beaches of North Wales and Anglesey. Just a twenty minute drive from Mount Snowdon via Capel Curig, the countryside abounds with opportunities for walking, climbing and mountain biking. With the cathedral city of Bangor only seven miles away, this is an ideal family holiday choice.

Within walking distance of the cottage is the Zip World Snowdonia, Europe's longest zip wire at 1750meters in length it is the closest thing to flying and well worth a visit during your stay.

Abe Falls Aber Falls

Known as Rhaeadr Fawr in Welsh, the waterfall measures almost 40 metres in height, formed by the Afon Goch flowing down the Carneddau foothills. They are found a short walk (roughly two miles) south of the village of Abergwyngregyn, and serve as the major attraction of the area. Well worth a visit, the walk is as enjoyable as seeing the falls.
