Event Day Out with Thomas in Llangollen, Denbighshire
“At the Railway Station, Llangollen”

On weekends that are bound to delight younger children (and perhaps even the inner kids within the bigger ones), Thomas the Tank Engine is making his way back to Llangollen Railway.

Thomas fans everywhere will love the event, as they will get to be up close and personal with their steam powered hero, meeting Thomas the Tank Engine in the flesh, as it were. The event is filled with fun, with a wide variety of activities that children of all ages can take part in.

These activities include getting to meet Thomas himself, as well as a ride on a real steam engine and shaking hands with the Fat Controller (or Sir Topham Hatt to children of a certain age). There’s also Thomas-themed fun and games in the Imagination Station, plus brake van rides with Thomas and Clarabel, travel on Goliath and Daisy, face painting, watching a Thomas film, balloon animals, a puppet show, story re-enactments, and – to top it all off – an official Thomas the Tank Engine certificate. Whew!
