Henblas Country Park is the perfect place to go if you have a full day to kill – there is so much to do that you can easily spend your whole day here. It’s situated right in the centre of Anglesey on a beautiful stretch of land, offering up fantastic views over Snowdonia National Park and St George’s Channel.
But that’s not what you’re coming here for! Henblas offers a wide range of different attractions, but at its heart it is a farm, meaning you and the kids can enjoy all those classic rural things – there are shearing demonstrations, tractor tours, sheepdog demonstrations, pony rides and a little petting zoo.
And that’s just for starters! There’s also an indoor adventure playground complete with ball pool and bouncy castle, the Dragon Train ride, a games room and play tractors, as well as an outdoor play area and a crazy golf course.
You can even get your face painted, check out a falconry display, feed the lambs, discover a Neolithic burial chamber, watch craftspeople at work, explore the stables… to cut a long story short, there’s a lot on offer. Bring a picnic and make the most of your day!
The Henblas Country Park is located between Llangefni and Aberffraw, just off the B4422. It will be signposted upon your arrival in the village.
