Here ‘s an interesting fact about Llanymynech Golf Club: it’s the only course in all of Europe where you will play the same game of golf in two different countries! In fact, you will play in two different countries in the same round: for the fourth hole, you will drive off while you’re still in Wales, then end up putting it in while standing in England. If you’re after a unique golfing experience, this is most definitely it.

You will carry on playing your game in England, but only for the following three holes. After that, it’s back to good old North Wales! The rest of the game is a rather challenging one, one that will put your various abilities to the test. It is a very hilly course, with plenty of hazards - you’re encircled by sheer cliff drops.

The location is dramatic, offering up some fantastically beautiful views over the Cheshire Plain and even of the imposing Berwyn Mountains. Once your game is finished (and you’ve ended with a good score - hopefully!), you should make sure to grab something to eat in the clubhouse; you’ve earned it after all that!
