Location: A quarter of a mile down a private lane from Waunfawr Village, this farmhouse accommodation offers seclusion with amenities close at hand. Caernarfon castle is just four miles away. The Welsh Highland Railway halt in Waunfawr and Sherpa bus service run to Snowdon, Beddgelert and beyond. This offers walking with start or return by bus or rail. The farmhouse is set in 16 acres with extensive uninterrupted mountain views. The adjacent stream runs over a small waterfall and down a pretty ravine planted with mature rhododendrons to private river frontage with free fishing, a beautiful place for evening strolls and barbecues – a site of special scientific interest and home to an old badger sett. The mature woodland surrounding their home offers private badger watching.Otters have also been seen in the area. A riding school and ménage are a short stroll across a field.

Accommodation: a semi-detached wing of the main house with one large bedroom, en-suite shower room, kitchen and spacious lounge-diner with log burning stove.

Facilities include full central heating, microwave, DVD and garden furniture. Laundry service, at cost, available on request. Bed linen and towels are supplied, heating and electricity are included in summer, seasonal supplement £30. This is a no smoking property.
