There are lots of exciting events and activities happening in North Wales over the summer, and we are sharing as many as we possibly can with you. Here are two coming up soon that we are particularly looking forward to!
North Wales Festival of Gardens
Did you know, North Wales is home to some of the most spectacular, important and well-respected gardens in the UK? No, we didn't think so. These hidden horticultural gems are home to some of the rarest and most beautiful plants in the world and are considered world-class by gardeners.
Plants and flowers from all over the world thrive and flourish here - it's all thanks to the warmth and moisture of the Gulf Stream which passes right through North Wales.
The event, which takes place between 27 May and 11 June, brings the gardens of North Wales to a much wider audience. More than 20 gardens from across the region - big and small - will come together to host a variety of events including behind-the-scenes tours, picnics, music recitals, pop-up garden shops, exhibitions and much more.
Gardens taking part this year include the famous gardens at Bodnant, Plas Newydd and Portmeirion plus the lesser-known but equally beautiful Plas Cadnant, the gardens of the Welsh Mountain Zoo and Plas Brondanw.

All Wales Boat Show
Hot on the heels of the North Wales Festival of Gardens, the All Wales Boat Show (AWBS) sails into Conwy between 9 and 11 June. Now in its fifth year, the boat show is a celebration of all water based activities - so expect everything from luxury yachts to crazy jet ski antics!
The AWBS works to promote Wales' marine leisure industry and offers a great day out for boat enthusiasts, water sports fans and land-lubbing families alike.
With a huge range of activities, events and exhibits, plus the chance to have a go at some of the activities yourself, it promises to be a fun-packed weekend - especially as the weather forecast has it hot, hot, hot for North Wales this weekend!
The land based show is free to enter and tickets can be purchased to gain access to the boats on show. For the latest updates and to purchase tickets click here.
