Ideal for two couples or a small family, this traditional cottage has two bedrooms, the master with a low king-size bed, TV, chest of drawers and occasional chairs. The second bedroom is all about rest, a king-size bed, bedside tables, plenty of natural light in the day and nice and close to the kitchen for that evening hot chocolate. The lounge has a large log burner to help ease away any winter chills after a fabulous day exploring Snowdonia, comfortable seating and a light, airy feel. The kitchen-diner is a lovely family area with all the mod cons, ideal for preparing a magnificent breakfast to start your grand adventure or planning your next route up Snowdon. The covered deck outside adds a super all-weather space for relaxing and taking in the beautiful scenery. The shower room has a good-sized shower, WC and washbasin.

Facilities include full central heating, washer-dryer, dishwasher, fridge freezer, microwave, two TVs, Wi-fi, and garden furniture.  Bed linen and towels are supplied, heating and electricity are included. Offroad parking for one car. This is a no-smoking property. One well behaved dog is welcome.

Location

Cobweb cottage sits in the village of Waunfawr just outside the Snowdonia National Park. Less than seven miles from the summit of Snowdon (as the crow flies) and less than four miles from the impressive Caernarfon Castle in the Royal Town of Caernarfon on the edge of the Menai Straits, which separate Anglesey from the mainland. The Welsh Highland Railway (a narrow gauge steam railway) runs from Caernarfon through Waunfawr, stopping at the southern end of the village by an award-winning microbrewery and Real Ale pub and on through Beddgelert to Porthmadog on the south-west coast. Here there is a connecting service on the Ffestiniog Railway through to Blaenau Ffestiniog. You could park the car on the drive, walk to the train station, have a pint whilst waiting for the train and explore a different part of Snowdonia each day, returning to a lovely pub meal or your own home-cooked feast before relaxing in front of the roaring fire with a glass of wine.

Small but comfortable cottage in a great location for exploring surrounding area. Short of some kitchen items, generally clean, a bit short of space in some areas - very tight to get round the beds

The cottage was a GEM find, clean and quirky; with off road parking for 1 car and a secluded back garden with enclosed deck. The location was perfect with horse riding within walking distance and short car ride - Mt Snowdon, Caernarfon, Dinas Dinlle Beach

Thank you! We are really pleased to hear you enjoyed your stay at Cobweb Cottage and exploring the surrounding area. We hope you are able to visit North Wales again soon
