View the virtual tour

A semi-detached bungalow-style cottage with off-road parking in the picturesque village of Rowen in the Snowdonia National Park. Delightful, a modern interior, small but perfectly formed kitchen (with dishwasher and washing machine), shower room, cosy lounge diner (with flame effect gas fire) and two bedrooms. The master bedroom has a kingsize bed (against the wall on one side, so accessible only from the right side and the bottom of the bed), and the second bedroom has a single bed.
Facilities include full central heating, washing machine, dishwasher, fitted kitchen, microwave, smart TV, and wi-fi internet access. Bed linen and towels are supplied, and heating and electricity are included in the tariff. Off-road parking for one car. This is a no-smoking property. Sorry, this property is not suitable for pets.

Location

Rowen is a wonderful little village in the Snowdonia National Park located between Conwy Castle on the coast and the increasingly famous village of Dolgarrog (home to Adventure Park Snowdonia, the first man-made inland surfing lagoon available to the public). The village is popular with walkers, nature lovers, visitors and locals alike, with the village pub offering a welcoming heart to the community, and it is only a short stroll down the hill from the cottage (perfect). Whether you are looking for a relaxing getaway or an adventure-filled week in the wilds, Tan Y Celyn is an excellent choice for a couple, a small family or two friends.

Cosy, comfortable retreat ideal for a relaxing winter break. As described - super clean, peaceful, warms up quickly. Beautiful countryside to look out on and explore. Many thanks for the seasonal chocolates, Welsh cakes, milk and butter on arrival.

Somewhere you've never been? What is Nearby?

Attraction Image The Groes Inn

This family run restaurant overlooks the beautiful Conwy Estuary, giving you some incredible views while you dine. It was once an old coaching inn, and aside from some fabulous décor and all the modern conveniences we’ve come to take for granted, it hasn’t changed all that much over the centuries.

Attraction Image The Bodnant Welsh Food Centre

The Bodnant Welsh Food Centre is a true culinary delight. Buy locally produced food in the farm shop including a butcher and bakery; eat at the Hayloft Restaurant or Furnace Tea Room or why not learn how to do it yourself at the Cookery or Wine School?

Attraction Image Bodnant Garden

Just 10km south of Llandudno, lies one of Wales’ most beautiful gardens. Built and created by five generations of one family, Bodnant Garden is an unmissable haven of colour, wildlife and peace and quiet.

A detached house standing on a hillside in the Snowdonia National Park, sleeping up to five people in three bedrooms. Found on the outskirts of the popular country village of Rowen, the views from the house are as beautiful and dramatic as any found across North Wales. This idyllic location is just a short drive from the walled town of Conwy with its medieval walls and castle, which have been designated as a UNESCO world heritage site.
