In addition to its 100 miles of coastline, Anglesey has nearing 1000 miles of road packed into a small island, meaning that there’s enough road for everybody! So why not spend a day discovering hidden Anglesey along some of the quietest back roads? See nature, history and archaeology at a leisurely pace on one of Green Lane Bike Tours guided cycle trips with a qualified ride-leader.

Green Lane Bike Tours provide rides with spectacular vistas as well as an opportunity to enjoy the detail, from hedgerow flowers to wildlife. There are plenty of opportunities to stop, places to visit and a café or two- depending on the tour.

Their easy rides cover most parts of the island. You could pick the South Anglesey Prehistoric Route - beginning and ending at Brynsiencyn and providing an opportunity to visit several of the island’s most iconic pre-historic sites. Other rides include a visit to Llanddwyn Island (home of Wales’ patron saint of lovers), a visit to Penmon Priory and Penmon Point, beyond Beaumaris, and a new ‘Salty Tales for Cyclists’ tour from Cemaes and more.

Green Lane Bike Tours love to share their local knowledge, as well as encouraging more people to enjoy cycling. Whichever you ride you’ll come away having seen parts of the island most visitors don’t get to see and having learnt a bit more about the place!

They offer regular Guide Bike Tours on Saturdays, Wednesdays and /or Thursdays from Easter to October and a half-day Guided Bike Tour through the winter.

Bespoke tours can be arranged for groups and they are happy to take under 16’s as part of a family bespoke tour.

Minimum age is 16 years old and pre-booking is essential.

To claim your 10% do not use the online booking system, but contact them via e mail contact@greenlanebiketours.co.uk, phone 07940966879  or via their Facebook page on their website.

Attraction Image Antur Stiniog

This not-for-profit enterprise is based just outside of Blaenau Ffestiniog in Gwynedd; that is where the “Stiniog” in the name comes from. Antur is the Welsh word for adventure, so their name translates rather literally to “Adventure Ffestiniog”. And an adventure is exactly what you will get! Famous for mountain biking they offer other adventures too...
