If you are looking for a pub that comes with some fantastic views, then The Ship Inn is the answer. Set directly on the shores of the Red Wharf Bay, on the eastern side of the Isle of Anglesey, The Ship Inn allows its guest to enjoy a fine pint of real ale as they take in the views of the bay and over the northwest coast of Anglesey.

The Ship Inn boasts some impressive credentials. It is currently the only Cask Marque pub in all of Anglesey – a sign of truly excellent ales – and it was also the recipient of a Dining out in Wales Silver Award, as well as featuring in the Michelin Eating Out in Pubs guide.

Luckily for all of us, The Ship Inn is happy to welcome dogs into the warm, where they can curl up in front of the roaring log fire.

As well as a full menu of home cooked foods, and of course its wide range of local beers and ales, The Ship Inn takes a particular pride in its selection of whiskeys – at the minute, the count is approaching 50! http://www.shipinnredwharfbay.co.uk/

Attraction Image Llanfairfechan Beach

Llanfairfechan is a little town that, unfortunately, is not nearly as well-known as it should be. It is a lovely Victorian seaside resort town, often referred to as the coastal gateway to Snowdonia. The town’s position on the coast affords visitors some fantastic views over the Menai Strait and the Isle of Anglesey, as well as of the Great Orme of Llandudno.

Attraction Image Prestatyn Ffrith Beach

Prestatyn Ffrith Beach is a perfect example North Wales’ best sandy beaches. The beach is really long, making it nice for a lengthy stroll with a dog, especially as it is entirely dog friendly, meaning canines are welcome on the beach all year round.
