A fabulous detached house with enclosed gardens and parking. Situated in Nantmor just outside the ever-popular Beddgelert, ideal for a peaceful family holiday in the stunning Snowdonia National Park.
A delightful, detached house set in an enclosed garden with a tiny stream running through it. The house has four bedrooms, three on the first floor; The large master bedroom with kingsize bed and ensuite shower room, a lovely twin bedroom and a snug bunk bedroom ideal for children. The fourth bedroom also has a kingsize bed and is on the ground floor along with the family bathroom (bath and separate shower) The spacious lounge with cosy log burner, smart TV, DVD player and views of the garden and surrounding wooded fields. The dining room is also on the ground floor, with plenty of space for all the family (highchair available), doors out to a gravelled seating area. There is also the modern, fully fitted kitchen with induction hob, dishwasher, fridge freezer and utility room with washing/dryer and additional WC. Facilities include; dishwasher, washing machine, drying rack for wet clothes and coats, fridge freezer, microwave, two TVs (lounge has 55" smart TV), DVD player, Alexa speakers and garden furniture. Fibre Wi-fi Broadband (150Mbps). Ample parking for at least four cars. This is a no smoking property and will allow one dog only. The garden area for the cottage is fully enclosed by hedging and sheep fence.
Location
Awel y Grug rests in its own grounds in the little village of Nantmor, between Beddgelert and Porthmadog. The Welsh Highland steam railway has a halt in the village where you can board the train for a trip to Porthmadog on the west coast or to the town of Caernarfon with its spectacular castle to the north. There are lovely walks available from the door out into the beautiful surrounding countryside or along the river to Beddgelert. In summer the near-by Osprey project is worth a visit. Easy driving to the mountains and the coast, especially Black Rock Sands, Portmeirion, and the Llyn peninsula.- Pub 1.8 miles

Cosy cottage and very well supplied. Everything was immaculately clean. We loved the location in Nantmor with lovely walk along the river.

This was a very comfortable house in a lovely, peaceful hamlet. It was located at a convenient distance to most areas of North Wales There were good walks from the house to Beddgelert and surrounding areas. Well equipped and beautifully furnished.

Croesor to Cnicht
This walk is a rather more challenging one, totalling just over seven miles in length, making a circle up and around Cnicht, often regarded as the Matterhorn of Wales. The mountainous scenery is well worth the effort, but make sure you are well prepared for the trek.
