Location

Ty Mave is located in the quiet village of Fynnongroyw (not far from Prestatyn) less than 3 miles from the wide sandy beach at Talacre (famous for it's much photographed lighthouse) and the RSPB Point of Ayr site on the Dee Estuary with its saltmarsh habitat where you may often see Pintail, Curlew, Oystercatcher, Sandwich Terns and the occasional Peregrine. Five miles to the East lies the Greenfield Valley Museum Heritage Park, a fascinating trip through the industrial revolution, with play areas, woodland walks and the ruins of Basingwerk Abbey all available for you to explore. This is just the beginning, the whole coast is open to you via the North Wales Coastal Path, or  hop in the car and just 30 miles down the coast can reach Conwy Castle and the Victorian resort of Llandudno. 30 miles inland brings you to Llyn Brenig Reservoir a great spot for walking, cycling, sailing or fishing and further to the East is the Llandegla Mountain Bike Centre. All this and Ty Mave is less than an hour and a half from Manchester city centre.
