Beaumaris is a lovely town in the south east of Anglesey. The town grew around the 12th centuary castle built to guard the entrance to the Menai Strait. The castle is still there today and be visited throughout the year. Beaumaris is a popular destination and has a large number of restaurants and cafes including The Bull hotel and the red Boat Ice Cream Parlour. Other attractions include the Janet Bell art gallery and the Beaumaris Goal.
