Lovely little cottage, Cosy and comfortable. Had everything we needed. Good range of walks nearby.

Very happy with our extended Bank Holiday week stay. In a lovely location and well situated for walks straight out of the door. I have given 4 rather than 5 stars as overall the cottage is a bit tired (e.g sticky window, small fridge)

Thank you for your feedback. Great to hear that you enjoyed the location and surrounding area.

We’ve been coming for many years now. Love this little cottage! Very cosy, comfortable and had pretty much all we needed. Had to buy coal and wood as a little chilly in the evenings. We planted some winter pansies in doorstep tubs as a thank you x

We had the most amazing time staying at Ty Bont. This property was glorious in every way imaginable. Neighbours were friendly and it was the perfect base location possible. I couldn’t have dreamed up such a perfect place. Thank you to organisers too.

Attraction Image Tŷ Hyll

Located on the A5 between Capel Curig and Betws y Coed, Tŷ Hyll (or ‘Ugly House’ in English) is anything but ugly and is in fact rather charming! Nobody knows for sure how the house got its name. Some say it was built by thieves who would target travellers which gave it its fearsome reputation, whilst others believe the name is derived from the river it lies on – the Llugwy. Others still say that it is the big crude boulders outside that gave the house its name.

Attraction Image Llyn Crafnant

Acknowledged as one of the beauty spots of North Wales, Llyn Crafnant is hidden within a valley in the hills above the village of Trefriw. This is a very visitor friendly location with free car park, plenty of marked walking routes and a lakeside cafe. On the eastern side of the lake Gwydir Forest reaches down to the shoreline and to the west is the Carneddau Mountain range. A small river flowing out of the northern end of the lake flows down into Trefriw where it powers the woollen mill before joining the River Conwy.

Attraction Image Around Gwydir Forest

Located within the boundaries of the gorgeous Snowdonia National Park, Gwydir Forest (also spelled Gwydyr) takes its name from the Gwydir family, who owned the castle and the estate of which this forest was a part.
